Terms of Service

Effective May 6, 2026 · Version 2.0

Plain-language summary

GetPreCare helps you connect your Medicare account, see your claims, and share with providers. You must be 18 or older. GetPreCare is not medical advice. You must actively choose to connect your Medicare account — we never connect it for you. You can disconnect anytime, and you can ask us to delete your data. We're not legally responsible for medical decisions you make based on what you see in GetPreCare.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using getprecare.com or the GetPreCare product, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Continuum Health Systems LLC.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use this site or the product. Continued use following any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. About GetPreCare

GetPreCare is a health-record sharing platform operated by Continuum Health Systems LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company headquartered at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801. GetPreCare helps Medicare beneficiaries:

  • Connect their Medicare claims history through CMS Blue Button 2.0
  • View medication history, procedures, and care timeline
  • Prepare for doctor appointments
  • Share selected claims with healthcare providers

What GetPreCare is not:

  • Medical advice or clinical decision support
  • A replacement for professional medical care
  • A health insurance provider or payer
  • A HIPAA-covered entity (we follow HIPAA-aligned practices but are not legally a covered entity under HIPAA)

3. Who Can Use GetPreCare

To use GetPreCare, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid email address
  • Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
  • Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law

The Medicare connection feature requires an active MyMedicare.gov account. If you are not enrolled in Medicare, you cannot use the Medicare claims sync feature.

We do not access your Social Security Number, your financial account information, medical records outside Medicare claims, or data from other health systems unless you separately connect them.

You can disconnect your Medicare account at any time without penalty or fee.

How to Disconnect

  1. Sign in to GetPreCare
  2. Go to Settings > Connected Accounts
  3. Find "Medicare" and click "Disconnect"
  4. Choose your data retention preference: 90-day default or immediate deletion

You can also revoke access directly at MyMedicare.gov.

8. Service Availability

GetPreCare is provided "as is" without guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee 24/7 uptime, immediate access during maintenance windows, or real-time sync of Medicare claims.

Service availability depends on third-party providers including the CMS Blue Button API, our database hosting, and our authentication provider. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party failures.

9. Not Medical Advice

GetPreCare is an informational tool only.

  • Not a substitute for medical care: always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • No clinical decisions: do not make medical decisions based solely on information in GetPreCare.
  • Verify data: claims data may have errors or omissions — verify critical information with your doctor or Medicare directly.
  • Emergencies: for medical emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetPreCare is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or merchantability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Continuum Health Systems LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits, data, or business opportunities; damages resulting from use or inability to use the service; or damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to GetPreCare in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes:

  • We will notify you at least 30 days before changes take effect
  • Email and in-app notification
  • For changes affecting Medicare data handling, we will obtain CMS approval before implementation, as required by CMS Developer Terms

Continued use of GetPreCare after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively.

12. Termination

You Can Close Your Account

  1. Open Settings > Account > Delete Account
  2. Confirm deletion
  3. All data deleted within 30 days; backups purged within 90 days

Dormant Account Termination

If you do not sign in for 18 consecutive months, your account is marked dormant, your Medicare connection is automatically disconnected, and claims data is deleted after a 60-day grace period. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Termination by GetPreCare

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or use the service in a manner that harms GetPreCare or other users.
